Shannon Spake

Shannon Spake, born July 23, 1976 is a NASCAR reporter as well as a college football and basketball reporter at Fox Sports. Prior to that, she worked for ESPN, where she was a SportsCenter contributor, providing the pre- and post-game update. Also, she worked as an on-field reporter for the SEC in ESPN basketball matches and NCAA football matches. Spake was also a journalist at SEC Network. This network is part of ESPN. Spake had previously worked at Speed Channel. There, she hosted NASCAR Nation (June through November 2005) in addition to serving as an editor. Together with Marty Smith, she co-hosted Back Seat Drivers (a talk show) along with Marty Smith.
